What you can do with the worksheet
- Define the review: record your opportunity cohort, review date, source policy and financial basis.
- Calculate eight measures: qualification rate, quote rate, decided-quote win rate, cost per qualified RFQ, cost per acquired customer, contribution, observed contribution ROI and revenue-to-spend ratio.
- Check the inputs: keep unknown values blank, exclude open and canceled quotes from decided-quote win rate, and flag inconsistent counts.
- Choose one improvement: record the issue, action owner, due date, success measure and next review.
Use it in three steps
- Download and open. Save the ZIP, extract its contents, then open machine-shop-marketing-scorecard.html in a current browser.
- Try the example, then clear it. The fictional example matches our measurement guide. Replace it with your own internally verified figures.
- Save your review. Use Print / save to PDF before closing the page. Entries remain in your browser session; the downloaded worksheet does not upload or retain them after closing.
See the difference between revenue and ROI
In the fictional example, $80,000 in delivered revenue minus $60,000 in agreed variable costs produces $20,000 contribution. With $12,000 marketing cost, observed contribution ROI is approximately 66.7%. The revenue-to-spend ratio is approximately 6.7 times.
These are illustrative values, not benchmarks or KriXis client results. Attribution assumptions do not prove causal lift, and contribution is not accounting profit.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a CRM?
No. You can establish a baseline with maintained opportunity records. The worksheet summarizes those records; it does not replace your estimating or accounting systems.
Does the worksheet collect our data?
The downloaded worksheet runs locally without tracking or external scripts. Your entries are not submitted to KriXis. Print or save to PDF to retain your completed review.
What if some values are unknown?
Leave them blank. The corresponding result stays unavailable. A zero denominator also has no meaningful ratio. Avoid replacing missing data with guesses.
Is this a full financial model?
No. It is a focused planning worksheet using your chosen acquisition cohort and cost definitions. Review those definitions with your operations and finance team.
